It's "Disastroid".
Not "Disasteroid".
That is all.

Sample city
For a while now I've been trying to figure out an easy way to get interesting samples to trigger live. (That is, without having a laptop up on stage and looking like a bunch of NERDS.) Finally picked up a foot trigger thing that will hopefully do the trick, and should have it up and running as part of the set at Bottom of the Hill next Thursday.
Now I just need to start finding strange and interesting samples. So, any requests? Send 'em our way. Here's your chance to have that slurred voicemail message your drunken asshole ex-girlfriend/ex-boyfriend left you set to the sweet sounds of a Disastroid song. - TW

Wednesday January 26th at Kimos
I've been a bit slow on this one. (It's getting hard to think of cool new posters every show.) But here it is at last...
This show's going to be an interesting one, since we'll be playing mostly new music. We've basically been going to the practice spot, turning the radio on to classic rock stations, turning it up really loud, and then totally jamming out, really emo-questing and following our auras to peaceful new horizons. We think you're really going to enjoy the result.
Also on the bill: our friends Big Blue Whale are now The Etz Brothers Holy Mess. Which means they'll be trying out a bunch of new music, too.
And then there's Die Fistery, who we share a practice spot with. Sure, they put a lot of really lame art on the walls of the rehearsal space -- a lot of unicorns and horses and shit -- but their music is still pretty bone-crushing I guess.
This is a GOOD SHOW. You should totally come and let us experiment our new sets on you.
