Reocrding is fun

We successfully recorded eight tracks of sludgy goodness at Hyde Street. Next up: vocals, mixing, and mastering. There's a lot still to do but we're hoping to have this new album wrapped up by the end of October. I put it on the other day and my cats freaked out and ran away, so you know it's already pretty good.

Also: two Disastroid posters were recently featured in a Rock Poster Art e-book thingy. Not published yet, but it's a pretty fantastic book, and pretty humbling to be placed next to some unbelievable poster artists. I'll post a link when I have one.

The time is near !

Disastroid will be going into Hyde st. Studios to start their new album this month. They will also be releasing their last EP "Iris Failure" in the upcoming month. So keep your ears open for some new music from Disastroid.

There is more to come this June !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were not lucky enough to get your face seared at El Rio on the 4th you will get your second chance Sunday June 26th at the Hemlock. The Hemlock on a Sunday when the sun stays out late and the air is warm, where else would you want to be ?

And heeeeere's the show poster! Tasty sci-fi goodness. The El Rio's cheap and always a good time so come on down.  They'll probably be cooking something up in the back yard.  Show time is around 10, but if you feel like marathon drinking, they got free oysters at 5:30 and burlesque at 7:30!
